What is an AI girlfriend?+
An AI girlfriend is a fictional virtual companion for conversation. Proma generates replies with AI; she is not a human partner or therapist.
Is HeyProma free?+
Yes. There is no subscription. Free service limits apply, and conversation may pause when provider capacity is unavailable.
Can I chat romantically?+
Yes. Sweet, flirty, romantic conversation is welcome for adults aged 18 and over. Keep it respectful and PG-13.
Can I use my own language?+
The landing page is available in 16 languages. You can write to Proma in your language, though AI response quality varies.
Will my AI girlfriend remember me?+
Proma uses recent messages for context. Signing in lets you restore saved history across devices, but AI memory is limited.
Are my chats private?+
Messages are cached locally and synced to your protected Supabase account. AI providers process recent messages. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted; you can delete your saved data.
